Owners, Henry and Debra Miller, purchased Riviera Collision in May of 2006. The shop was previously mainly auto collision. Henry had experience in restoration and custom paint as well as collision. They wanted to make sure people new they could offer more then just collision, so they decided to add a new touch to the name to make people aware of their new offerings, as well as the new ownership in the business. That is when "Riviera Collision & Custom Paint" was born.
Henry and Debra have strived hard for five years to grow the name of the business. They wanted to start moving the reputation of the business away from collision and more towards the restoration and custom work that they had been blessed to have performed over the past few years. In 2011 they felt their name had a good enough reputation, from the past work they have performed, to changed the name and advertise the specialty services they offer. That's when they decided on the name "Riviera Customs & Restorations".
Henry Miller has been doing body and paint work for over 15 years. His last place of employment was at a custom body shop that specialized in pro mod racecar's and restoration work. Before that Henry worked in collision repair shops where he honed and perfected his auto body skills.
Debra Miller has worked in offices over the past 19 years and has managed businesses over the past 10 years. Her experience with sales, administration and customer service makes her a perfect fit for running the office of RCR.
Steven Anderson comes to us with a welding background. He completed a two year welding program and has worked in the construction and auto body fields. He moved down to New Bern from Connecticut 7 years ago with his family.
